MY NAME IS SONYA LA MAR
My name is Sonya La Mar, and for the past eight years, I have been telling stories through photography. I believe that photographs have the power to preserve memories, convey emotions, and take us back to the most precious moments of our lives.
I love my family, friends, nature, the sea, and all seasons. I enjoy traveling, getting lost in small streets, and discovering new places. Snowboarding and greenery also inspire me.
I specialize in wedding and family photography because I believe that the most beautiful stories are found in human connections. As a Cancer, I have always felt deeply attached to home, comfort, and my loved ones—perhaps that’s why I instinctively understand the importance of keeping memories alive.
For me, photography is not just about capturing a beautiful image; it’s about telling a true and raw story—the kind that takes you back to childhood, awakens forgotten scents, and lets you feel the wind, the warmth of the sun, or the crisp chill of a winter day. Storytelling photography is my way of communicating with the world—through light, emotions, and moments frozen in time.
My goal is that one day, when you flip through your old photo album, you will feel those memories come alive again. That you will be transported back to that moment, reliving the feeling, the emotion, the connection. Because photography is not just a picture—it is a story waiting to be told.
